...is a dynamic and vibrant gathering where performing and visual artists from diverse creative backgrounds come together to showcase their talents in a supportive and inclusive cozy environment. In between performances, attendees explore the visual artwork on display, engaging them in conversations about the artistic process, inspiration behind the pieces, and techniques used to bring their visions to life. Art will be available for purchase. Hot food & drinks included *Sculpting Voices A creative journey of self-expression and inner dialogue meshed with clay sculpting. The host leads discussions on purpose, joy and fulfillment in this deeply immersive and therapeutic experience, offering opportunities for self-expression and emotional release. *Painting in the Park Paint outside in the open air, choosing your subject from the view of our quaint small park. Enjoy cool drinks, ambient sounds and learn a few art techniques in the process. Cold drinks & smacks included *Book Lovers Mingle Visit our bookroom to shop for new books highlighting by Black, Brown and Indigenous authors. Bring your own book to swap with others. Share your thoughts and critiques of your favorite books. Pick up some goodies from our pre-owned book section. Enjoy cool drinks, ambient sounds and friendly atmosphere. Cold drinks & smacks included *Paint & Play A fun and exciting creative time with a mash up of movie-themed group painting and trivia with electronic buzzer, prizes and good laughs. Hot food & cold drinks included * Black Women Homesteading Tea Talk Homesteading Sistas gather to sample tea varieties and share their homesteading journey. You're welcome to bring seeds and plants to swap. Sweet & savory treats & tea included *Village Drum Circle Bring your drum, shakers, tambourines and any percussion instrument and join us in our lovely outdoor space to come together, connect with rhythm, and experience the joy of making music in community. Whether you're an experienced drummer or a complete beginner, the village drum circle offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can feel the power of rhythm and beat Hot food & cold drinks included *Game Night Join us in our cozy venue for a community game night featuring Scrabble, Spades, chess, checkers, Lego building and more. Engage in friendly competition or collaborative building.
